Recipe from Nashville, TN! This gluten-free Chocolate Banana Oat Bread is the perfect moist bread to wake up to in the morning.
I found this recipe in a magazine while on a trip to Utah and it was by a blogger, Jenna Davis. I feel in love with the Chocolate Banana Oat Bread when I made it for the first time. I've altered the recipe so it was gluten-free without losing any taste. The warm bread coming out of the oven, for the first time, was like a Christmas present that arrived early. That's how yummy this Chocolate Banana Oat Bread was to me.
With being so busy this year with the new house and a puppy that still prefers biting my arm verses a bone, has giving me little time for cooking at all. I do miss it so much and working on the blog was a joyous time for me.
So in the few moments that I have had to make something tasty, I think really hard what I want to make because I don't know when I'll be back in the yard or shoveling dirt outside to work on landscape.
Now Christmas is here and I thought this was the perfect thing to make for this week. I have now made it 4 times and it's perfect with a little almond butter to top it off. I love chocolate to begin with and it was quicker then making cookies so I treated myself to something yummy.
Thank you to all my visitors that keep coming back to read my post and try out a new recipe. I want to wish your families and friends a wonderful holiday season. I hope your festive recipes come out perfect and melt in your mouth but most of all may you have joy in your life and good health. Happy Holiday from us to you! Hugs and Kisses, Lizzy

Ways to Serve
I usually slice my banana bread and add a little almond butter on top. I also love to toast it and add a little butter with jam, which is super yummy.
When I make a banana bread, I always mix on high so I get that moisture in my bake goods. Don't forget to line your pan which will make it so easy to lift the bread without sticking.
