This gluten-free Chocolate Banana Oat Bread is the perfect moist bread to wake up to in the morning.

    Chocolate Banana Oat Bread
I found this recipe in a magazine while on a trip to Utah and it was by a blogger, Jenna Davis from Tennessee. I fell in love with the Chocolate Banana Oat Bread when I made it for the first time. I've altered the recipe so it was gluten-free without losing any taste. The warm bread coming out of the oven, for the first time, was like a Christmas present that arrived early. That's how yummy this Chocolate Banana Oat Bread was to me.

Chocolate Banana Oat Bread Being so busy this year with the new house and a puppy that still prefers biting my arm versus a bone, has given me little time for cooking at all. I do miss it so much and working on the blog was a joyous time for me.

So in the few moments that I have had to make something tasty, I think really hard about what I want to make because I don't know when I'll be back in the yard or shoveling dirt outside to work on the landscape.

It's almost over and hopefully after 6 months of fixing and moving one thing or another out of the way so work can be done, I will have time to cook again!

Chocolate Banana Oat Bread Now Christmas is here and I thought this was the perfect thing to make for this week. I have now made it 4 times and it's perfect with a little almond butter to top it off. I love chocolate to begin with and it was quicker than making cookies so I treated myself to something yummy.

Step by Step How to Make Chocolate Banana Oat Bread

    1. Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl and in a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients.
    2. Now mix both in with the blender and add the flour slowly
    3. Pour into a parchment-lined bread pan and spray the pan lightly with oil.
    4. Bake at 350ø for about 45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean, let it cool and you're ready to EAT!

    Variations

You can add things to mix into Chocolate Banana Oat Bread with many different things but here are a few of my favorites.

    • White Chocolate Chips
    • Chocolate Chips
    • Walnuts

    Ways to Serve

I usually slice my banana bread and add a little almond butter on top. I also love to toast it and add a little butter with jam, which is super yummy.

    Tip

When I make banana bread, I always mix it on high so I get that moisture in my baked goods. Don't forget to line your pan which will make it so easy to lift the bread without sticking.
