Air Fryer Corn Ribs

Recipe from New York! The Air Fryer Corn Ribs recipe is scrumptious and healthy. So easy to make in no time for a twist in traditional corn recipes for the holidays. Not to mention the Corn Ribs are low-carb, gluten-free, and vegan.

Air Fryer Corn Ribs
The “Fried Curly Corn-on the-Cob” is from chef Max Ng at the Momofuku Ssam Bar, They are to die for and something that your taste buds will remember. I decided to try and make Curly Corn Cob in a basket of the air fryer to give it a healthy twist. The original recipe is made fried in oil. I'm not a big corn eater, to begin with, but I could eat these all day.

Air Fryer Corn Ribs
I love corn and any type of corn is a great side dish for me. The best way to make this cob rib recipe is in an air frying method to lower the calories.

Air Fryer Corn Ribs

I also prefer to make sweet corn ribs during the summertime because seasoned corn can be used. Ears of sweet corn can always be found in the farmers' market during this time of year.

HOW TO MAKE Air Fryer Corn Ribs – STEP BY STEP

This recipe is so easy to make and only 30 minutes start to finish.

corn

Corn Ribs

  1. Clean the corn and cut it into strips, this is the hardest part of the recipe.
  2. Place the corn into a bowl and mix the olive oil, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mixing all together, I used my hands because it was easier to coat all the corn.
  4. Spray the bottom of the Air Fryer with coconut oil.
  5. Place the corn in the Air Fryer and set the time.

Sauce

  1. Add the vegan mayo and sriracha sauce and mix.
  2. Mix a little bit of lemon along with the salt and pepper.
  3. Whisk together until it's creamy.

VARIATIONS

I serve the Air Fryer Corn Ribs as a side dish or as an appetizer. I have also tried corn with different sauces.

  • Honey mustard
  • Barbecue
  • Marinara Sauce

WAYS TO SERVE

During the holiday season,  the traditional low-carb proteins are a great way to have a healthy low-carb diet. Here are some of my favorites.

  • Roasted Turkey
  • Spiral Ham
  • Roast Beef

TIPS

If you like the corn crispy add more time to the Air Fryer. I also make the Air Fryer Corn Ribs at the end so I can serve them nice and hot. They are super yummy that way.
