Strawberry Chocolate Pie recipe that will make your heart stop from a Pennsylvania homestead. Nothing beats strawberry season with fresh juicy strawberries in a covered chocolate crust on top of a flaky pie crust for the perfect bite!
Every year on my husband's birthday it's time to bake pie! I only do this twice a year, one on Thanksgiving and one for his birthday.
He is a diabetic so he will pick his favorite dessert to splurge and pies are the all-time favorites. So every year, I try to pick a recipe that will knock him out.
This is a no-bake strawberry chocolate pie recipe but it does take time. It took me 24 hours to finish this chocolate strawberry pie, which I love a challenge. It's not difficult to make but from different pie recipes, it's not quick. I would not recommend the same day unless it is started first thing in the morning.
Warning, I almost ate the whole pie myself, I hope you have more willpower than me. This is by far the most delicious pie I have ever eaten! It is my first time making it and I'm sure it won't be my last. Let's get started, so I can share with you the full recipe of how to make this yummy dessert.

Picking a Pie Crust
If you are like me and don't always have the time to make a crust for a pie, here are a few that I love.
- Wewalka Pie Crust, Flaky & Lard Free - 9 oz - Vegan
- Schar Puff Pastry Dough, Gluten Free - 2 pack, 8.8 oz rolls - Gluten-Free
- Immaculate Baking Co Pie Crust - 15 oz box
- Pillsbury Pie Crusts - 2 pie crusts, 14.1 oz
Now there are plenty of different pie crust to buy or make and really it comes down to what you like. My husband loves an Oreo crust or a homemade graham cracker crust which I will make sometimes. Be adventures with your crust, but for me, I like a butter pie crust. I rarely make it but when I do I always use this recipe > Martha Stewart Pie Crust

More Delicious Pies
Nothing says America more than a summer pie with ice cream. Some of the most popular during this time are fresh strawberry pie, a cherry pie, or my all-time favorite strawberry rhubarb pie. You find them in the store or at a farmers market ready to eat, but for me, there is nothing better than making your own. Until next time my beautiful friends as my quest for the perfect bite continues. As they say in America, Let's dig in!
