  • 1 pie dough
  • cooking spray

Chocolate Ganache

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened quickly while warm.
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Strawberry Filling

  • 3 cup fresh strawberries
  • 3 oz strawberry jello mix
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup cold water

Fresh Whipped Cream Topping

  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Pie Crust

  • The first thing to do is use the cooking spray in a pan to bake a pie crust, place the dough and cover the top with parchment paper then add pie weights or dry beans. Follow package directions. Take the pie out and while the pie cools a bit I will clean and cut my strawberries and let them strain.

Chocolate Ganache

  • On medium-high heat add chocolate chips and butter into a small saucepan then mix with a wooden spoon together until the chocolate mixture is creamy. Be careful not to overcook. Take the cooled pie crust and brush it onto the pie shell with the chocolate mixture. Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate is hard for about 2 hours.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • Mix the cream cheese with heavy cream, yogurt, honey, and vanilla until softened then wrap in plastic and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours so it can cool. Then spread on the pie and spread evenly. Wait a couple of hours before the next step.

Strawberry Filling

  • Combine the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter. Set aside to cool a bit then when it has cooled off, mix the strawberry with the glazes. Arrange berries in a pie shell. Refrigerate for several hours or best overnight.

Fresh Whipped Cream Topping

  • Mix the heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract on a high-speed mixer until the cream peaks. Place on top of the pie. and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Best served right away with the whipped cream!

Notes

  • when making the jello mix adjust the heat on the stovetop so as not to burn the bottom of the jello and keep mixing.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the pie for extra design on the pie.
