With cocktails flying everywhere while living in Washington DC, one tasty chocolate raspberry martini was served to celebrate a girl's night bridal shower.
That night, dessert cocktails, served in a martini glass, was the perfect drink to share for this special occasion. This crowd where no amateur to cocktails but then again most of DC LOVE's happy hour. The bars are full at five any night of the week where flavored beer and cocktails are served to enjoy and then some.
This vodka martini is a delicious drink so I had two, yes two! It was like having two pieces of cake but being a lightweight with the cocktails, one would have been enough. With fresh raspberries dancing around in a chilled martini glass and chocolate on the rim of the glass I could not help myself. The raspberry flavor made this cocktail the perfect sip!

I keep my vodka in my freezer so it is always cold when I am ready to make a cocktail. Another great thing to do is trim the glass with hot fudge or salted caramel and use sprinkles for the trim of the glass.
