  • green beans
  • lima beans
  • peas
  • spinach

Ways to Serve

I make this soup with none other grill cheese sandwich for Jeffrey. Nothing like blending French soup with the American Classic of grill cheese sandwich.

Tip

I love making this during the week because it’s so easy. I like to take advantage of the fresh tomatoes and basil that is in season.

  • Toasted croutons on top that can be made with French bread.
  • I also love toasting up some cornbread for the top.
  • The best thing to serve with this soup is crusty French bread.
