U.S. Recipe! A delicious Cherry Smoothie packed full of goodness and summer flavors that is gluten-free.
I decided to make a Summer Cherry Smoothie because cherries are in season. I'm probably one of the few people that does not like frozen fruit.
I usual buy my fruit with the intent that it will be blended in my Vitamix before the end of the week.
Summer Cherry Smoothie
My favorite fruit are cherries and I could eat them all day everyday but they are the best during the summer months. So I tend to over buy them and one of the best ways to enjoy them is in a smoothie with that natural sweetness they give to the to this simple summer smoothie. ENJOY!
Summer Cherry Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cherries
- ½ cup of vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon Acai powder
- Plain Protein Powder is optonal
Instructions
- Pit the cherries with the pit tool.
- Put all ingredients in the blender.
- Blend for about a minute.
- Pour into a jar and drink
- Keeps for 2 days.
