Starbuck 2003
Now who invented this delicious blend of coffee and pumpkin spice combo? None other than Starbucks in 2003 who introduced the drink in Washington DC. While the concept of pumpkin-flavored beverages existed before, Starbucks was popularized, it contributed significantly to the seasonal trend.
The drink combines espresso, steamed milk, pumpkin puree, and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and has since become a fall staple in a coffee shop near you. The Starbucks pumpkin spice latte has become a beverage that is a holiday favorite with warm fall spices that fill a cup of coffee for many Americans, including myself.
Now let's get started with my version, which saves a lot of money because prices went up to $6.95 for a pumpkin spice latte. So let's do the math, 5 Days x 4 weeks = $139. For me and my husband, that would be $278. So after 3 months of the wonderful world of lattes that would be $834 which would equal to a brand new De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Semi Automatic Espresso Machine. just in case you thought it was too expensive to buy. I stopped going to Starbucks because it just got too expensive for 2 people.
