Caribbean Recipe! My Gluten-Free, Breakfast Berry Bowl is one of my favorite ways to start the day. Fresh fruits and coconut has a tropical flare to this healthy breakfast.
I had only been there a couple of times for a smoothie, but now after buying my BlendTec, I make my own. I was so surprised to see how they had expanded their brunch menu that was completely organic.
Now, keep in mind we lived in a neighborhood that had Hot Yoga, Spin Cycle Classes, Fitness Gym and of-course Weight Watches all in one place, but we only went to the basic gym with yoga on Sunday, nothing fancy.
My friend started off with a fruit bowl that was absolutely beautiful and filled with lots of berries. It was so beautiful I didn’t want to touch it at first, but then I took my first bite. My mouth was filled with berries popping inside.
So to my good friends who took us out for brunch that Sunday, I thank you for the memorable day that has now become part of my breakfast menu at home.
Some of my favorite things in the kitchen: I love my white bowls that are perfect for any serving of fruit salad. I use a wood cutting board that is light to pick up and washes easily. With my left over fruit and vegetables, nothing beats the BlendTec. We had had every blender known to man kind and I still prefer my BlendTec, it’s by far the best I’ve had in my kitchen.
Breakfast Berry Bowl
- 2 cups of sliced strawberries
- 2 cups of sliced papaya
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 cup of rasberries
- 2 tablespoons of chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon of shredded coconuts
- 2 tablespoons of dried cranberries
Mix the fruit and berries in a bowl.
Pour the honey on top and mix together.
Top with coconut, cranberries and walnuts.
Serve in a bowl
