Virtue Feed & Grain Alexandria VA is probably been our favorite place to go to for Sunday brunch or a quick hamburger on date night. The food is fresh and locally grown which makes all the difference when eating out for me.

Nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning and getting ready for a 2 mile walk to the Potomac River. We get our backpack filled with water with granola bars for the walk. The reason we enjoy this activity is because Virture Feed & Grain in Alexandria, VA is at the end of our walk.
Brunch to me, is my favorite meal of all and it's the one I have no problems walking 2 miles to for some fried chicken on a waffle. What a perfect combination and let's not forget a little maple syrup on top. You know a place is good when they can make good fried chicken. That's one thing that I truly enjoy and know when the meat is tender and the outside is crisp but not greasy or over cook. It's a sign of a good cook in the kitchen.
Yet I am still a traditional breakfast eater and love my scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. One of our favorite things to do is to split our meals in half. So he gets half of my plate and I get half of his plate. We both have a say on each others meal because we share!
The brunch is delicious and the serves is wonderful. They have a full bar for the perfect Blood Mary. Virtue Feed & Grain Alexandria VA brunch is well worth the extra steps to get here.
