I love a good pizza as most of you do I'm sure. It's second to none to a good hamburger. There is a small pizza place called Spris on Lincoln Road on South Beach that makes my mouth water. First of all each table has a sunflower that is as bright yellow as the sun and as big as your head! Then you sit in this cute little place inside or out ( I prefer to sit outside just so I can people watch for the afternoon). Pizzas are the main draw, where over 30 tantalizing varieties of Spris' famed thin-crusted pizza are delicately baked in a wood-burning brick oven.
The pizza is flat bread and we ordered 2 of them. One was the Terra e Mare with tomato sauce, mozzarella, shrimp and portobello Mushrooms and imported prosciutto $14. The second was the Ciociara with tomato sauce, mozzarella, roasted peppers, *Kalamata olives and goat cheese $12. They were so rich with flavor that both had a taste you won't forget. You don't wait long and the waiters were charming as could be. So if your ever in South Beach and want to people watch with a good pizza this is the place to be.
