Happy New Year, Family and Friends may bring you new adventures, good health, and lots of love for the upcoming year. As the holiday season comes to an end and all the good times of a Merry Christmas, I find my good fortune to be able to have had this time with my best friend, laughing and eating our favorite things.
This has been a great year for me, and may the wonders of god continue to look down and encourage me into the path I should take. My relationship with God is the best gift I have every day. I cherish my faith, for it is the one thing that helps me not lose perspective on what is important in the life I live.
This past year has had its challenges with two hurricanes, new windows, and, let's not forget, the awning that took forever to fix!
It also made me realize what we need and don't need, so a lot of cleanup in the garage I had to do. You see, no one tells us to put pee pee pads down because the dogs need to go while the hurricane is going on!

So, the garage needed a fresh start to have room for our furry family members. I would say this hurricane season consumed my time from September to November, first with windows being replaced, then with the clean-up.

As soon as the coast was clear, off to Christmas decorations for the spirit of the season I went. To me, it is the most wonderful time of the year, when all things remind me of the good things that are in my life. I put a personal touch to my home and try to have an open heart for others, but BTW, I'm not always successful, but I keep trying.
It has been a wondrous new year with endless blessings in our lives. For one, we did not flood nor lose electricity or internet, which was a miracle. I'm happy to be alive and healthy with my dogs and husband.
On a personal note, we tried to do more dates together, which we manage here and there, but we both can't tear ourselves from the dogs too long. They are a big part of our lives, and we want to enjoy them as long as they are here with us.
So, as we leave 2024 after a fun-filled Christmas, I send you a champagne toast for all of you who keep coming back to join me, I send you good wishes for the coming months and a year of good health for you and your family because nothing matters more than health.
Sneak Peak to Christmas Morning
Since I have been blogging, it has made me realize how small the world is when I hear from so many of you around the world. I would like to say thank you for all your kind words that you send me, it fills my heart with joy. To all of you, I wish you the happiest New Year! See ya in 2025 as we continue to search for the perfect bite!
