Recipe from Fort Lauderdale, Florida! My Gluten-Free, Breakfast Berry Bowl is one of my favorite ways to start the day. Fresh fruits and coconut has a tropical flare to this healthy breakfast.
One of my breakfast favorites is the Breakfast Berry Bowl. I make it at least 4 times a week. It became one of my favorites breakfast after we went to brunch with our very dear friends.
We had just gotten married and they invited us to a small little restaurant around the corner from where we lived in Florida. I had only been there a couple of times for a smoothie, but now after buying my BlendTec, I make my own. I was so surprised to see how they had expanded their brunch menu that was completely organic.
Now, keep in mind we lived in a neighborhood that had Hot Yoga, Spin Cycle Classes, Fitness Gym and of-course Weight Watches all in one place, but we only went to the basic gym with yoga on Sunday, nothing fancy.
My friend started off with a fruit bowl that was absolutely beautiful and filled with lots of berries. It was so beautiful I didn't want to touch it at first, but then I took my first bite. My mouth was filled with berries popping inside.
As simple as this sounds they had done something different that I had never thought of doing before. The all new Breakfast Berry Bowl had shredded coconuts with a splash of honey. So to my good friends who took us out for brunch that Sunday, I thank you for the memorable day that has now become part of my breakfast menu at home.
