The Military Diet Experiment Begins today! Let me tell you why I decided to do this experiment. I had a friend of mine try this diet a few years ago and she said it worked. I filed it away so I could one day try this to see if it really does works.
As I read the diet to see how many calories you consume, well let just say, 1000 calories a day would help anyone lose weight. The question for me is how hungry are you at the end of the day?
My start weight is 138 this morning May 1, 2017.
My Results to a Military Diet!
DAY 1 | Total Calories 1013
Breakfast: 1/2 Grapefruit/ cal.52 | 1 slice of gluten free bread/toast/ cal.70 | with 2 tbsp. of peanut or almond butter/ cal.188 | 1 cup of coffee/ cal.5

I felt fine for breakfast but I have to say by lunch time I was hungry. The time seemed to move slowly for noon to come but I held in there! The day was fine but I was happy for dinner time. The best thing to do is to go to bed early 🙂
Ok I am done! This diet definitely works if you stick to it. I lost 5 pounds and I was really hungry around 5pm. The next day I had to have an extra apple and banana just to make it threw the day. I would definitely try it again because I didn’t feel bloated at all. The best part is I felt like I had extra energy which I was surprised. This is not a long term diet but to get a quick start on losing a few pounds. So before my birthday weekend I was all about it so I would not put on any extra weight. I cheated and had everything I wanted without feeling a bit guilty about it. I do recommended drinking a lot of water during this time because it does help you feel full.

So now that I have finished my experiment on myself. I asked my husband if he would try it. The answer was NO! Ladies as we all know men can lose weight much quicker then women just for the simple fact they have more muscle. So if we have more muscle we will burn fat quicker too. So of to lifting weights I go!
