I make this cake during the holiday season and call it the Christmas Snow Ball Cake. The chocolate cake is from Donna Hay from Australia but the frosting I make from a little trick I learned a few years ago from a friend of mine.
Its Simple Frosting
1 cup of cream
16 0z of cream cheese
Whip these ingredients and one of the options below for about 4 minutes, if should be thick and fluffy at the same time.
Now you can change the flavors by adding:
Option 1
2 tablespoon of honey
Option 2
3 tablespoon of powder sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Option 3
3 tablespoon of powder sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
The possibilities are endless for flavor and if you want to add a little color just put a few drops of food dye.
