Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli with Cream Sauce is a fall special that I make once a year when butternut squash is in season. Let’s get started!
China Shang Dynasty during the 1700-1100 BC had some form of pasta made with either wheat or rice flour. The pasta that we eat today was most likely introduced by Arab traders in Sicily during the 8th and 9th centuries.
Cut the butternut squash into small pieces and place it on a pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil on the pan. Sprinkle spices on top and place in the oven.
Roasted butternut squash ravioli with cream sauce is not a quick recipe to make. I make this recipe on a Sunday afternoon when I have more time and double the recipe. Then I have enough to freeze. Hope You Enjoy! xoxo - Lizzy
